DIRECTIONS TO EVENT


CenterFest takes place in downtown Durham, about one mile south of I-85 and just north of the Durham Freeway (NC 147). Many municipal parking lots surround the CenterFest site, as well as neighborhood street parking. Some lots will charge a $2 special event parking fee while others are free.

Coming from Raleigh / RDU

Take I-40 W to the NC-147 (exit 279B) to DURHAM/ DOWNTOWN.
Take exit 12B toward US-15/ Roxboro St./ Mangum St.
Turn RIGHT onto S. Roxboro St.
Turn Slight LEFT onto Morgan St. (Downtown Loop)
Turn right onto Foster St. to access festival on foot.
Public parking surrounds the festival site. See map.

Coming from Greensboro/Hillsborough

From I-40 E merge onto I-85 N.
In 9.3 miles, keep right to take NC-147 S via exit 172 toward DURHAM/ DOWNTOWN/ RTP.
Take the Chapel Hill St. exit- EXIT 13.
Turn LEFT onto W. Chapel Hill St.
Turn RIGHT onto W. Main St.
Stay STRAIGHT to go onto E. Chapel Hill St.
Turn LEFT onto Foster St.

Coming from South Durham:

Go Northeast on Fayetteville Rd. which becomes Fayetteville St.
Turn LEFT onto JACKIE ROBINSON DR./ WILLARD ST.
Turn RIGHT onto S. ROXBORO ST.
Turn Slight LEFT onto Morgan St. (Downtown Loop)
Turn right onto Foster St. to access festival on foot.

Coming from Chapel Hill:

Take 15 N/ 501 N.
Merge onto NC 147 S via EXIT 108 B.
Take CHAPEL HILL ST. EXIT 13.
Turn LEFT onto W CHAPEL HILL ST.
Turn RIGHT onto W. MAIN ST.
Stay STRAIGHT to go onto E. CHAPEL HILL ST.
Turn LEFT onto FOSTER ST.
